Concept Art: Batmobile designs

Let’s have a look back at some of the potential Batmobile designs for Batman Forever.

First up is HR Giger’s bizarre effort. Apparently the idea was that the car could separate and come back together!?

Here are some 3D models that a fan – Leon Gor – made to show how it would look (on some Giger inspired backgrounds!).

Next are a variety of prototypes by Production Designer Barbara Ling and TFX (Transportation Effects).

This last one was apparently the last design Schumacher and Ling signed off on. Really the only things I can see they kept was the fin and the wheels.
